Default Can employer see private files opened in Office 365

Hello everybody

Unfortunately, neither the web search nor the forum search got me any further:

For two weeks now I am using a company license from Office 365, including Exchange Server and Sharepoint, as far as I know

before I have always used Word and Excel for private files (previously had my own installation) as well as for business purposes.
I would be interested to know whether these files also appear in the cloud or are visible to my employer.

As my private letters etc. do not concern the company, I would not appreciate this.

I use a private computer.

My private e-mails continue to go via Betterbird, but I've been asked to switch to OL etc. for work. Salesforce will also be added.

Therefore: are these files visible or in the cloud, and if so, how can I prevent this.
I have two separate user accounts on the PC, but Office is system-wide.
So I don't know how it behaves there

Many thanks and greetings
Thomas
