I do not know if this always existed.

In a document I have a bunch of footnotes which also had cross references if the same footnote was needed on the same page. Since the same footnote was used on multiple pages, we decided to use Endnotes.

I used the Footnote and Endnote dialog box to convert them to Endnotes. When I click the cross referenced link I open an web page internal to the document.

I tried recreating the cross reference but it always goes to webpage.

Been searching for a solution for the last day to no avail
