Yes I think that is essentially my problem. I have read several Microsoft articles on using InfoPath to generate a custom DIP with user fields which can then be used in a WORD document, but none of them then tell me how to get these fields into the body of the document.
I suppose I'll have to move this question to the InfoPath forum !
