Hello everyone,

I am not sure if this relates to the latest Office (2021) update or not, but I am suddenly unable to update any Excel linked object on any Word document.

All Excel linked objects present the "Object" right click context option, instead of the "Linked Macro-enabled.." context option.

What does not work, that worked until recently:
1) Manually clicking on "Update Link".
2) Macros that automatically update all linked items.

What works:
1) Double-clicking on any Excel linked object (hence redirecting to the linked file and sheet), will afterwards allow it to update normally and will also make the "Linked Macro-enabled.." context option available again.
2) Setting the Excel linked object to "Automatic update" instead of "Manual update" in Word's links, will make all Excel linked objects work normally again, including the "Linked Macro-enabled.." context option.

> Having the linked Excel files open or closed in advance, makes no difference.
> Setting Word to have links automatically updated on open or not, also makes no difference.

Anyone experiencing this?
