Unhappy Configuring MS Office with OpenLDAP

I have a small office running Windows 11 and Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2206 Build 16.0.15330.20144) 64-bit, along with the rest of the Microsoft 365 suite. While all the PCs are running either Windows 11 or Windows 10, the server running the MySQL and OpenLDAP applications is a FreeBSD 13.1/64-bit machine.

My problem is getting MS Outlook configured to connect to the OpenLDAP database. I am not employing SSL, so that should eliminate some of the potential issues. I have tried all sorts of combinations for configuring the connections, but nothing works.

Now, using a non-MS MUA, in this case, "Claws-Mail," I can easily configure the MUA to connect to the OpenLDAP server, confirming that it is not a firewall problem or user credentials problem but rather an MS Outlook problem.

Can anyone assist me?

Thanks!
