Hi Calastein,
That suggests your Housing Software has its own font and uses a non-standard character for the £ symbol.
You might be able to overcome this by:
• selecting the problem mergefield,
• pressing Ctrl-F9 to embed the problem mergefield in another field (ie { ĞDatağ })
• editing the field construction so that you end up with {=ĞDatağ \# "£,0.00"}
If that doesn't work, you'll need to format the mergefield with the same font (not just one with the same name) that your Housing Software uses.
