Hi,

I have tried copying them, renaming them but I cannot opening .xls files from the desktop. I can open Excel and browse to them fine. I've also searched for a resolution online and found that the 'Ignore Other Applications' in tools-options-general should be unchecked which it is.

Hope someone can help
