Yes, the words "insert some links" confused me. So, to clarify, you want to copy and paste cells from Excel into Word and these cells have borders that makes them look like a Word 'Table'? That's why you used the word 'Table'? However cells are not tables. Cells can contain complex data and Excel functions.

If this is what you mean then the same procedure I suggested will still work except you have to select all the cells you want then copy (Ctrl+C) in Excel and then paste (Ctrl+V) in Word. This is a simple copy & paste rather than the Paste/Paste Special/Paste Link/HTML format method you are using.

If you still get the "constantly moving circle" issue then it could be that the cells contain Excel functions that Word can't support.
