Often, when writing I wan a hyperlink in the document that is not a link. I intend to publish as paper and do not want or need a link to go anywhere but to be visible. In Word, if there is a hyperlink field active, adding a space to the text can be done by simply typing the space in. This allows the hyperlink text to wrap without changing the destination.

If you want the link to be active, activate it before typing the space. If you do not want it to be active at all, add the space. If you have the default option on to convert to a link, press Ctrl+Z to undo the conversion to an active (inaccurate) link.

This shows four examples. The first is the hyperlink, pasted as text. The second shows what happens if you add the space before converting to an active link. The third shows conversion to an active link and the fourth shows the addition of the space to allow natural breaking of the line. The active link in the last two is identical but the text is different.

The document is attached.
