Thanks, unfortunately OneDrive did run for a day or two before I stopped it by setting it to not automatically start when I signed into Windows. In fact, it appears it comes bundled with Windows and is set to run right away, therefore, when you boot up a new laptop OneDrive is where Windows creates its initial folders.
