Be careful editing the registry. Any changes you make are done in real-time and there are no "Save your changes" or "Don't Save" prompts on exiting the registry editor.

Get it wrong and your system may not be able to start up again.

Make notes of "Before" and "After" so that you can go back if needed.

Backup the registry before editing unless you are very confident in what you are doing.
