This has nothing to do with proofing tools. You can buy these from Microsoft for Spanish, Italian etc. I am talking about the English language. Americans don’t speak it. It has ALWAYS been possible to add to dictionary. Nothing to do with proofing tools. English (USA / English (UK) is not for proofing tools.
Add to dictionary has always been a Microsoft Standard.
