Angry Using Excel to Audit Data Responses (IF and THEN identify wrong answers)

Hi There!
I am trying to solve a problem, and I need your help! I oversee an office that has many users doing different functions in one single database. Auditing this data to ensure accuracy has always been a challenge. I am hoping to export the data into an excel spreadsheet and use 'rules' about data responses to highlight known entry discrepancies.

For example, I know that if a record has a certain employer listed, the response for who covers that employees insurance should be a specific response. So if employed by Smith Company (column A) the Insurer needs to be Smith LLC. (column B).

I assume that this is going to be some version of a IF THEN statement, but I do not want the cells to fill, I want to draw attention to cells that do not meet my known rules. HELP???
