This will likely be quite simple to answer, but I've been stumped on it awhile:

My document is set to single space between lines, however one line stubbornly remains spaced with slightly more. I don't see anything strange when I reveal formatting, and when I select the text cut it, and paste it again, change the spacing and return to single spacing again, the extra space between one line still exists. It's the first line of a paragraph, and the extra space is between it and the second line. Just can't seem to remove it.
