A way to easily determine the formatting used in a cell
Hi!
I teach a class on Excel and have to grade many Excel files.
I seem to remember in some bygone spreadsheet (Lotus, etc.), you could select a cell, then click on a button OR press a combination of shortcut keys. A dialog box would pop up and definitively identify all formats used in that cell.
QUESTION:
Is there such a feature in Excel 2019 / MS-Office 365 Excel to perform the same function?
It would sure save a lot of time if I could easily id the fonts, formatting, conditional formatting, etc. without having to guess all of the time.
Thank you ahead of time for any help you can provide!
Tom
