Default Using two styles of caption numbering in the same document
May all being well,

I have a document with 5 chapters (by using section break feature), in addition to appendixes.
For 5 chapters, I included chapter numbers in caption numbering like 1.1, 2.4,...etc
For appendixes which located at the last of the document, I have additional images and tables and I don't want to include chapter numbers in caption numbering, I mean regular numbering like 1, 2, 3 ... etc
So, is this feature possible in Word?
