Ok. Solved my own problem, but still not sure what the underlying issue was to begin with. The fact that I could recreate the folder using the same name, and all of the email would repopulate in the new folder indicated to me the issue was with the folder as the email was clearly still in there somewhere. On a whim, I recreated the folder again, confirmed the email had repopulated, and then renamed the folder. I clicked on the Send/Receive button, and was pleasantly surprised to see the folder did not disappear out of the list. I then renamed it back to what it was originally, and performed the same test...still there!! Again, no idea what the issue was, but sometimes it doesn't pay to ask too many questions. Revel in the victory, and move on!!
