Both these characters are available in just about any font. The upper-case phi (Φ) is character 03A6 and the lower case phi (φ) is character 03C6. To get either of these, simply type the code then press Alt-x. If this doesn't work for you, you may have some faulty font installations. If it does work but it's not showing up in your transferred documents, that's probably because your documents used a non-standard font set. I am aware of some font sets that allow you to input character pairs that they display as greek characters. These are not part of the standard windows font set and you would have to reinstall them before your documents would display & print correctly - or you could do a Find/Replace to change these character pairs into the standard font equivalents. The latter makes the document more portable too.
