I suspect that there is no way to tell which program has added tracked changes in a Word document (if that is what you are asking).

What happens if you download the document from Google Drive, saving it in *.docx format, and then opening the document in Word?

In Word, it is possible to always use the "local" user name (specified in File > Options > General) or to make use of the user name in OneDrive. This is controlled by the "Always use these values regardless of sign in to Office" at File > Options > General.
