In the past i would have done and index and match (and probably still would on most occasions) but as you said large data sets i thought i would try Power Query

I have only used PQ a couple of times but have a look at the attached and see if it was something like you were after - i am sure the headings can be changed easily enough and formatting etc

There are plenty of video on Youtube on how to do this but i also find these guys very good
