Default Marking styles with meta data

Hi friends, maybe I am missing something, but I will ask anyway:

I have a certain style, we will call it: "ResearchIdeas"

Throughout the text, I am editing (some ancient texts) I have certain text marked with that style. But what is important to me is **not the text that is marked with that style** but it is "some other" text.

So we have on, say page 26, text "BlahBlah". That text is formatted with the style "ResearchIdeas". BUT the "research idea" **behind the text** is "Students should investigate what is the source of varients in ancient texts" (or something like that)

I want Word to build a table (an index??) stating:

"Students should investigate what is the source of varients in ancient texts" (with **no mention to the formatted text "BlahBlah"**) - pg 26

What is the best and most efficient way to do this? With index fields, or maybe there is an easier way?

Thank Yoi all,

Susan
