Can you post a sample document with your circle added onto an otherwise empty page? You can attach a document if you reply with the GoAdvanced button.

We can have a look at how you have setup your document and test it on a different printer. It may help eliminate some of the possible sources for this issue. I'm pretty sure it is going to be either a page setup or printer driver issue.

If you do follow the sound advice to save the file as a PDF, make sure to turn off the default PDF print setting to scale the page to fit - this will be absolutely guaranteed to shrink the size by about a centimetre.
