I tried to change my Office version to 365 but that option is not available to me so I have chosen Office 2019!!!

I am using Google Chrome 89.0.4389.82 (64 bit) Official Version.

I am using Office 365 installed on my computer.

Opening Office from the Taskbar or by using the App List brought up by the Windows Key produces the same effect.

I can open a Word file by going to File Explorer and then double clicking on it. If I then press Ctrl + N a new document is opened.

I have used Command sfc to check for Windows file corruption and I am assured that all is correct.

Windows 10 is fully up-to-date. This problem (coincidently???) arose just after a major update.
