Ok, I have the 2 programs on Windows 10 and when I receive emails in Outlook 2010 with Office attachments, they are not recognized. The attachments show up as .doc_ for word, and pics show up as .jp_ Every attachment shows up as . then 2 letters, and an underscore. When I double click the attachments, a dialogue box pops up saying "You should only open attachments from a trustworthy source. Would you like to open the file or save to your computer"?
When I click open, another box pops up. Is this a function of Office 2010 or something else? It was fine for awhile, but then this started. Do I need a new Office program? Why aren't images being recognized? I can't seem to open them up except in Paint.
