Default Revision/issue numbers in footer area

Hi,

My job requires me to convert many manuals from Frame Maker to MS Word. 99% of the functions, I've had no issues converting over, but have a couple of things that I'm not happy with. This is one of them.

In Frame Maker, every single page has it's own revision number and date in the footer. I believe it's just a text box that the Document controller has put there, and updates each time they edit the page. I've done the same, and put a text box that hovers over the text and is placed in the footer area of every page. The problem is, it's anchored to text and if that text is moved/changed/deleted, it also affects the floating text box.

If I put the text box in the footer itself, it duplicates throughout the entire section, even though I have "same as previous" turned off.

Is there a better way of doing this? Does anyone have any suggestions?
