Office 365 .msg file opens with fault - message box in german
Hello,
We save important emails as .msg files within our company folder structure.
Windows 10 64bit Operating system, Office 365 installed and Outlook is set as the default program for this application file type.
Every time we try and open a .msg file we get a message box in German, in short saying that Outlook needs to be set as the default program to open this message type. although it already is? and it does open it?

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling office.
In addition, I have tried a registry rename of the below to see if it rebuilds and removes the issue. No luck so far.
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Offi ce"Outlook"
Any help greatly appreciated.
