Default Total Project Hours

Complete newb here...

Is there somewhere I can put total projected hours for a project, then, as I enter hours used per task, it tracks the % of hours used?

i.e., Project X has 500 hours allocated to it. Then, as tasks use hours, have that add up all subtask hours, calculate that against the total Project hours I've told it are allocated to that project, and then have it display the % used?

I'm looking to be able to say something like, "okay guys, we have used 75% of this projects allocated hours but we're only 50% complete with the tasks."
