Default Easy way to transfer outlook 2016 settings to new laptop

Hello,

First, I want to say, I am not a tech user or an IT specialist. I am a regular ignorant user of Win 10 and Office 365
I have Win 10 with Outlook 2016 which is part of office 365. I have simple problem for which I can’t find a simple resolution.
I have about 20 email imap accounts in my Outlook 2016 most are imap account, some outlook and a couple of others. I prefer to use imap. My computer is Win 10 and I have the office 365 suite.

Now I bought a laptop and I have office 365 and outlook 2016. I know I can manually add the accounts, but how can I simply transfer all the account settings into my laptop? Because my emails are all imap I don’t care about transferring the messages because they will pop up in the new laptop when added as imap accounts.

I’ve searched the internet and tried to download a reg file of my profile. I imported this new file into my outlook in the laptop. It shows as a profile, I can see the email accounts but I cannot open the damn thing.

Why isn’t there a solution for this seemingly simple problem. I find lots of help forums which talk of regedit and pst and ost none of which I understand. I only want to to transfer the settings from Outlook, not the other office programs.

Can someone explain in very simple English without geeky talk and without surplus info about what was in previous versions of outlook 2016, how I can transfer my settings to the laptop. I want to add the accounts to my laptop as if from new, a fresh installation. I have added some accounts in there which I want to delete and start afresh.

Thank you in advance for any help.
