Hi elgell,

Word's document protection has never been very strong - consider it a safeguard against accidental editing rather than as a true security measure. If you want to secure a document against editing, save it in the PDF format. In most cases, that's enough to prevent people from making edits. If you have access to an app like Adobe Acrobat Pro, you can add additional layers or security, including, no copying or printing.
