Outlook exits unexpectedly when clicking "run rules now"
Windows 10 - Microsoft Outlook 365 16.0.13001.20266 32 bit.
I have been running outlook happily for some years with a rather long and complex set of rules. In the last week I have noticed that if I go into the rules editor and click "run rules now", the outlook application exits and restarts. I also see this with other operations within the rules editor.
At first I though one of my rules had somehow become corrupted and I needed to run SCANPST or something like that, but I am seeing this on two different computers each with local outlook files, which strongly suggests a newly-introduced bug / incompatibility between the latest version of outlook and one or more of my rules.
Looking in the event viewer I see "Application Error"

anyone else seeing this?
I think my next step is to try to remember how to back down to a previous version of outlook. I have a note somewhere how to do this, but it has been a while.
Thx for the help
Ben
