Default Need help with syncing sent email from one account to another

I am helping someone who an imap email account from Cox. There have been multiple issues with not syncing and once emails disappeared, I was fortunate to have a backup. Since there are multiple issues with the Cox account and no one at Cox is willing to help. I am forwarding the email account to another email account that is hosted on Exchange. The problem is the user wants the email he responds to show the old cox.net email address and not the exchange account. When the user replies to an email he responds with cox.net email so all the sent mail is in the old account. I looked into using reply to in the account setup of Outlook 2019. I found out reply to works on the imap account but not the exchange account. I either need something like reply to for the exchange account or I need a way to sync the sent email folder from the cox.net sent email to the exchange account sent email. The user keeps all his old email for reference and wants his sent email in the exchange account.
