Okay, so if I want to move down the page 3 7/8" I go to Insert, Text, Quick Parts, Field, Advance. Then check the Vertical Position box and enter the number 279 as 1" = 72 pts x 3 + the extra 63 points for the 7/8". Cool. It is very accurate. After trying this out I then tried moving down another 1 1/2 " (108 pts) from the original 279; however, it then put me up to that point at the top of the page, it did not move me further down from my last point. Okay, I can deal with that. Just make a new document for the second insertion. Thanks for your help.
