I just bought a new computer : Notebook HP-15-dw1019ns
and installed the Office suite: Office Profesional Plus 2010 - 14.0.7015.1000 (the same I've always had in my old computer).
And I find that PowPoint cannot open the ordinary .pps files.
It shows a message to the effect that "PP has detected that my graphic card may not be well configured for the best experience with slides" and it just doesn't open.
I does open my older .ppt files, however.
I've tried PP Options>Advanced>show, and marked Disabling the hardware graphic acceleration, and PP still does not open; but then not saying why, just that PP cannot read the file.
