This appears to be an Adobe Acrobat DC Pro issue, not a Word issue. Your should post such questions in an Adobe forum.

That said, you can do either or with Word, not both. A workaround would be to use the Windows PDF 'printer', then use Adobe Acrobat DC Pro to restore your bookmarks and hyperlinks.
