Thanks very much for your replies.
I'm writing desk notes on how to update a monthly report and in each section the user will need to know how to update a table as well as how to update the commentary associated with the table.
As each table already comes under a heading I thought it would look a bit unwieldy and be a bit onerous to also name each table with the heading.
This is what I'd like the toc to say:
BAU – Operational Financial Performance P&L Summary(excl. Fee for Service)
Table
Commentary
Fee for Service - Operational Financial Performance
Table
Commentary
BAU – Branch Operational Financial Performance Summary(excl. Fee for Service)
Table
Commentary
This is what the toc is saying (it's updated from table2 to table 3 today lol):
