Somehow, you've managed to convert the text to an image. The simplest solution at this stage would be to save the document in PDF format, then use an application that can perform optical character recognition (OCR) on PDFs so the text can be extracted from them. Adobe Acrobat Pro (not the free reader) is one such application. Microsoft's own OneNote and Microsoft Office Document Imaging (MODI) are others, but obtaining and installing the latter is fiddly.
