Hi, this is my first post here.I'm a novelist, and I recently received my novel back from my editor (a copy edit.) I want to see the changes she's made, and I've managed to do this by using the Compare function, with the original document I sent her and the copy edit version she returned.

I thought that I had saved the changes I made (using Accept and Reject change), but I've discovered after 150 pages of work that the changes weren't saved.

Can someone please suggest a method whereby I can compare these two documents, and make and save changes to the copy edit version? Or at least a new document that I can then compare with the copy edit? I've tried everything I can think of, and used Google to find the answer, to no avail.
