Default Possible to automate a list of words/phrase replacement with VBA?

Hi,

I've just come across VBA today. It's completely new to me. I want to ask for your opinion whether it's worthwhile to invest the time to learn VBA for the purpose that I'm doing.

I do a lot of text translation from a foreign language to English. And once it's machine translated into English, the clean up process begins. Word and phrase replacement is a laborious part of it. There are thousands of short phrases that I need to replace.
For example: The car red is parking --> The red car is parking.

I have a master list of thousands for those replaceable phrases that I kept for all my translation. Right now, I'm using the "Find & Replace" dialogue in Word to replace each of those phrases one at a time. It's a painstaking process.

I'm wondering whether VBA script can be used to find & replace each of those phrases from the master list automatically? If VBA can do that, then I want to spend time learning the language so I can do my job more efficiently.

All advice is welcome.
Cheers.
