Hey everyone,


I have the following problem when working with Word. This came up recently and I don't know why. So far everything always worked just fine.


I'm writing something like 1. and the auto-enumeration feature sets in and puts my number into like the sixth level of the numbering, so somewhere in the middle of the page. It is the level where the numbers would appear again when you go through the levels starting at the numbers (1,2,3) going through a,b,c, and i,ii,iii etc. (hopefully this is somewhat understandable)


How can I make Word understand, that I want to start a new enumeration every time?



I totally understand, if you need additional information in order to understand what I mean. Please ask for them. I'm having issues putting the problem into words.



Btw.: I am using Windows 10 and Word 2019.
