Which Text Wrapping has been specified for these objects? If Text Wrapping is "In line with text," an object will behave like a (large) text character and move as the surrounding text is added or deleted.
If Text Wrapping is set to something other than "In line with text," the object will be positioned relative to the page (or relative to paragraphs on the page). The object will move to a different page if the paragraph containing the object anchor moves. See also
