Default Disable email security prompt

Hi,

I have a few spreadsheets that send emails using CDO which bypasses the security prompt issues of outlook. Unfortunately some sites aren't on our network and so cannot access our mail server to use CDO. So I have had to add additional outlook object code to deal with this problem. Of course my issue now is that this produces the security prompt "a program is trying to automatically send emails ...".

All the users have office 2003 and I just wanted to know if there is a way that I can disable this either with extended MAPI scripts in my spreadsheet or if there is a setting that they can change in outlook 2003.

I know there are various addins etc but I have no control over the IT at these sites so would need a method that they either change a setting or I use some MAPI script to bypass the security prompt.

I have looked at vbMapi Security Evader, but don't really want to go through the long drawn out process of raising a PO for this and as I only need to send basic emails I wouldn't need all the functionality you get with the security evaders virtual com library.

Hope you can help,

cheers,

Andy
