I have not tried to log out of Outlook itself because it is part of Microsoft Professional and all programs are together even if each of them are separate in use. But if it is possible I am unsure how to log out of just Outlook and then sign in again.
I did what you suggested:
Tools > Options > Advanced > Send and Receive > Uncheck 'Send immediately when connected'
Tools > Options > Advanced > Send and Receive > Send/Receive > Uncheck both 'Schedule an automatic send/receive' options.
I closed out of Outlook, then opened Outlook back up, clicked send and receive but no mail. That does not mean it didn't work. I might just not have any mail. I will have to give it a day or two to find out. Outlook is my second email account. My first is yahoo.
I want to thank you for your quick reply and help you gave me. I still would like to remove the work offline message because when I first installed this program it was not there.
