Hello everyone. Glad to find such a forum to solve our problems using Office!
Mine is as follows:
I've always used my PC to edit Word documents, but I recently resorted to my Macbook to edit my work on Word. I've finally decided to go back to my PC, but all my Word documents which I had opened and saved on the Mac....their footnotes (in the body of the text) appear preceded by a massive space before them while overlapping with the text that follows them! I tried to remove that space before the footnote number, and create space after it, but I continued to fail...
Something similar is happening in the actual footnote at the bottom of every page where they appear overlapping with the first word in the footnote!
How can I fix this problem in one sweep so I don't have to cut those footnotes one by one, paste them into 'notepad' (to rid them of any 'formatting' that corrupted them in Word) then paste them again into the text?
It's a 250-page book that I'm translating and need to submit before the end of the year!
Your help will be greatly appreciated!!! Please help me!
