RoadiJeff: There is no process for de-registering the Office product key. Although you should uninstall Office from the old PC, that doesn't de-register it. When you install Office 2016 on the new PC, you may be unable to activate it by simply adding the product key. In that case, you'll need to use the telephone activation method.
