Default Transfer Office 2016 to New PC

Several years ago, I built a PC for an elderly relative and I purchased and installed Office 2016 for it. It is running on Windows 7 OS. She has been having problems with the PC running slow and also I have heard that support for Windows 7 ends in January, 2020.

I would like to build her another, faster PC with Windows 10 OS. I would also like to move Office 2016 over to it. She only uses Word on it and I told her once that having all that when all she needs is Word is like having a Lamborghini to drive back and forth to work when a Ford Escort would do the job.

Anyway, does anyone know if I can unregister the Office product key from her current PC and install Office 2016 on the new PC once I have everything up and running on it and use the product key there?

I know there are probably less expensive choices for a word processing program than the one that comes with Office 2016 but since I paid for it once already I would like to keep using it and I know that she doesn't like when things change and she has to learn some new program. It will be hard enough getting her used to Windows 10.
