Thanks again for taking the time to help. I will check further with the software company and see what they have to say.

I did locate another free program called APower Manager that allows copying SMS messages to the clipboard, which can be pasted into Word, Notepad, etc, and includes not only the date of each message, but time as well. Very clean interface. The big problem is, in a conversation, the program splits up sender/receiver into two separate entities, so there's no way to back up/copy an entire conversation in sequential order of both parties. Very odd.
