for reasons that i dont understand outlook combined all of my contacts into one folder. i had multiple folders, friends, business, etc. etc. with contacts and outlook put them all into one folder. ok that sucked but i recreated the folders and reorganized my contacts again into the correct folders once again.

so now i have another problem, when i create an email and want to find an address to send it to i click the "to" tab and the address book opens as usual. but now there are two of every folder shown in the address book. for example, there are two friends folder, one has contacts in it, as expected, but the other folder is blank, nothing in there at all. if i go to the outlook home screen and look at my folder list there is only one friends folder there, same with all the folders one each, and it has all the contacts. so why do i now have two friends folders (two of every folder) shown in the address book? same for all of the folders, two of everything, one has contacts and the other has nothing.

how do i delete the folders that have nothing? they dont show up in my folders list? right click on the folder in the address book does nothing and since there are not two folders in the outlook contacts list what to do?
