I have simple question but do not get it right

How do I setup a task that will indicate how far progress is against a budgeted cost for travel

This will be update weekly as a actual $ amount

Whereas the work must be updated as a actual hours worked

I have setup 2 resources

One as $/hr

And one as cost

How do I setup further, lets say there is a budget Travel is $ 2000 and actual travel cost so far is 500$
