As it turned out, the text I wanted to adjust wasn’t in the ms word footer section even though it appeared there. So I eventually shrunk the footer section temporarily, was able to click on the text and change it then re-adjusted the footer settings again and it turned out the way I wanted it. I guess I could have just deleted that tract and put it in the footer section now that I think about.
