I have a vista laptop that was running a trial version of office 2007. I had to format the computer (that's another story).

I reinstalled office 2003. the problem I'm encountering is that I can't get Outlook to download my mail. I have checked all the settings (at least 5 times) and sent a "Test Mail" which shows all green tick marks. I can send mail OK, but I can't receive anything.

I've heard that there's some sort of different protocol from office 2003 and 2007.

Any help would be much appreciated - Danny
